Take a look at System > Administration > Additional Drivers.
It'll tell you if you're using a graphics driver and let you enable one if you aren't.

So what exactly are you asking for? Something about how the GPU is being used? Your post doesn't give too many hints.
This is what im looking for but for linux/ubuntu
Have you checked all the available stuff you can get to screenlets? Also some of them are multiply screenlets that just need that you tell to show GPU.
