Use whatever OS or desktop works for you. Dual boot or use VMs if you want. Backup your computer regularly, and definitely before upgrading, partitioning, or installing an OS.
No support requests by PM please.
Supported.
You've been a great help for many years now, longer then I've been here. You've got me!

corrytonapple,
Thank you for your support. It is appreciated. I have been posting for years as you noticed. I don't post a lot; however, I try to be as helpful as I can when I do post.

Just wanted to say that Old_Gray_Wolf was a veteran when I first showed up here. I've never received help from him personally, but I have read many of his helpful and knowledgeable posts.
I actually thought he already was an Ubuntu Member so, for what it's worth, it's a +1 from me

Thank you for the support Lechien73, nothingspecial, and Basher101.
You could try in a couple of months.
I've had some PMs or emails from people asking if I was a Member. They were confused by the trick I played to get my Bean count to show up the way it does (Beans:=Farts). They were thinking I had some special ability to modify my profile. LOL

I hope no one thinks the word fart is vulgar, if they do, I will change it. I was trying to be humerus by playing with the phrase "Old Fart" through combining my forum name, my age, and expressing my opinion of Bean count. I really am old, and you can get Beans by posting for help, making useless posts, or actually providing helpful information in any of the support forums; therefore, I find them meaningless. LOL
