Former system was Mac Pro, running OSX 10.5 with 3 internal drives. Bay 1 was the OS drive, Bay 2 and 3 were configured as a mirrored RAID (RAID1).

HDD in bay 1 corrupted and had to be chucked away. Replaced with 500GB HDD and Ubuntu 11.10 installed just fine.

I'm now looking to get the data off the drives in bay 2 & 3 (mirrored, so either will do...?), transfer it to the HDD in bay 1 and then format the bay 2 & 3 drives into something more useable in Ubuntu.

- Can I mount just one of the drives to get the data? If so, how do I do this?
- How can I mount the HFS+ formatted RAID1?

Many thanks in advance!
