I run Ubuntu 10.04 and once in a while I stumble upon the following error message on startup:
Reinstalling the driver does make it go away but only temporarily. After a while (2-3 weeks usually) the error gets back and it really bothers me to reinstall the driver every time. It's been happening for months now, regardless of the kernel I use or drivers version, and under no special circumstances. Any ideas as to what might go wrong here?
Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode
