    Question No Hibernate Service

    Hello Sudan LoCo Team Members ,How are You ?

    My Problem this time is 'Simple' I think ..

    when I try to Hibernate my Pc 'CTRL + ALT + DEL' nothing happens and the screen goes blank like it is 'Locking' the account .

    info :
    user@ubuntu:~$ uname -a
    Linux ubuntu 2.6.32-24-generic #39-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 28 06:07:29 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
    512 MB RAM
    1.8 Intel Dual CPU
    80 GB HDD

    hello there,

    Well Simply because those keys combinations are assigned to logout by default you can check the shortcuts already assigned by going to system- preferences-keyboard shortcuts. from there you can also make you own short cut.

    I tried to see manuals for "shutdown" but there was no Hibernate option ...I googled that and Found a Hibernate cmd I installed it and unfortunately lost my swap but that is not the point ...is there is any command to save my session on my HDD and shutdown the system ???
