A Carafe of Ubuntu
Just a little while ago, I tried to get on Ubuntu and I kept receiving Grub Menu with a"Minimum Bash Commands" description. Whenever I tried to use the boot command, it would tell me there is no kernel available.
Is there a way to fix this or do I have to re-install? I would really hate to re-install, I have a lot of important stuff on here.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, if that helps.

You could try Boot-repair. You can run it by installing and running while booting from the Ubuntu CD (yes, it will do this and is in the repos), or download the ISO, burn a Boot-Repair CD and boot from that.

I followed directions on that page you sent me, and it installed boot-repair, but it detected no problems for Ubuntu. However, it said it repaired an issue in Windows, but my Windows boots fine.
I'm going to restart now and see if it had done anything.

Well, what it really did was break Windows, and now I have no bootable OS.
I received a message saying "BOOTMGR is missing..."
