Hello:

I have Ubuntu 10.10 desktop with the printer attached.

I can print locally from Ubuntu.

I can not print from my windows machines.

XP: I can browse to my Ubuntu, see all the shares, see the printers, view the shares, and vies print jobs awaiting to print.

98: I cannot browse the server (I get "The server is not configured for transactions") however I do have some letters mapped to shares on that server and I do have access to them (read and write). I cannot add a printer on the ubuntu server (the same error pop up up).
