Kubuntu 11.10 on late 2010 MacBook Air, any good?

Its been a while since Ive played with Kubuntu/Ubuntu, but I want to get back in the game and its amazing how far Ubuntu and linux in general has come since 2005 when I joined the forums.

Im planning on installing the latest Kubuntu 11.10 on my late 2010 MacBook Air (via USB courtesy of rEFIt!). Just wondering if theres anyone who out there who has already done this and could share their experiences.

Issues with installing over USB.
Is it fast/slow?
Sleep mode/screen issues?
Any issues with wifi/bluetooth/keyboard mapping etc...
