    Macbuntu install issue

Hey guys I tried to install the Macbuntu theme in Lubuntu 11.10 following the directions here:

however once it installed I only get the apple logo when shutting down and booting up. I would like to get this working or does someone know of an iso for an Ubuntu install with Macbuntu under 700mb? The reason for such a small iso is that I don't have a dvd drive for this machine and I only have 700mb cd's.

The Macbuntu ISO is for 11.04 and is 768 Mb . Are you sure the theme works with Lubuntu ? I could be wrong , but I was under the impression the theme required Gnome and haven't found a definite answer .

Macbuntu is meant to work with Gnome 2. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work at all, now that Ubuntu's updated to GTK3.

if you had Maverick Meerkat you could install a 40mb theme Macbuntu 10.10.
it installs what you need and then you have the mac look and feel.
    including compiz effects!
only sad thing is i tried using the theme in 11.04 and 11.10 and it will not install properly so i just stayed with 10.10, after all it is only 1 yr old now and runs great!
