11.10 32 bit: Persistent pendrive powered off before halt

    Hello everyone,

I've successfully created a bootable USB-stick for my old Sempron 3000+ K7S8XE system [USB RMD-FDD boot with blocklist method].

The problem is that the USB-stick is powered off while performing the
"casper is resyncing snapshots and caching reboot files" if I use the persistent boot option.

This also occurs on my Everun Note Laptop which support "real" USB-boot.

    The error message is:

    Code:
Buffer I/O error on device sdc3, logical block 1
end_request: I/O error, dev sde, sector xxxxxxx
    Thanks a lot for help.
