    Dual boot.

Ok, my old, dearly beloved Aspire finally gave up. Now I have a brand spanking new Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5300, and, of course, I'm expecting trouble.

Anyway, my question is: I'm planning to dual boot 10.04 and Windows 7 on it. I know I've seen, here, in the past, a great tutorial on how to dual boot properly, but, for the life of me, I can't find it. Can anybody direct me to it?

    Thanks in advance.

A good set of dual booting instructions can be found here:

You're welcome. I should have mentioned that I dual boot Lucid and Windows 7 at the office, and those are the instructions I used.

Thanks again. I've been reinstalling W7. Now's the time for Ubuntu.

    Fingers crossed...

If a post is older than a year or so and hasn't had a new reply in that time, instead of replying to it, create a new thread. In the software world, a lot can change in a very short time, and doing things this way makes it more likely that you will find the best information. You may link to the original discussion in the new thread if you think it may be helpful.
