    Angry All around media issue

I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 on my Lenovo ideapad y560p.

A few days ago, any time I tried to:

Play music in banshee or vlc
    Use pandora
Use youtube or any other flash based player

The time goes twice as fast, no sound plays. Also, if on youtube the video plays in fast motion too. This is not a fresh install, everything worked perfectly prior to this occuring. I tried reinstalling flash and restricted extras, and tried using clementine instead of banshee.

Things never just happen. What else have you done in the last few days? Have you tried doing any updates or installed any new software?

The only updates I do are through update manager, but other than that I haven't done anything else crazy to it.

    So I've fixed the issue.

I went to system settings>sound>hardware>internal audio and picked analog stereo duplex.

Although I never changed these settings to cause this problem, I'm sure one of the updates did.
