Spilled the Beans
Even when not playing any mp3s.
The interface as soon as it starts up is completely unresponsive. If I double click an mp3, Banshee will open and play the mp3 but again the interface isn't responsive and I have to kill it to close the program.
Anyone else experiencing this ? I'm using Ubuntu 11.1 with all the latest updates installed.
I've had to remove it and install RhythmBox which works fine but it's a bit annoying that the Media Player that comes with 11.1 out of the box is broken.

I have had this issue for over six months now. Tried updating the soft, but never got very far. Too bad, I really like Banshee

I've seen a lot of people having problems with Banshee. I removed it because of this and use Totem to play my stuff.
It is annoying that something out-of-the-box doesn't work right.
