Free Online Linux classes by HP

I thought some of you might like to know that HP offers hundreds of free online classes. I've taken their java and php classes in the past.

Today I signed up for Linux 201: administering Linux for users

    they also have

Linux 301: introduction to Linux system administration
Linux 401: intermediate system administration skills

which I'll probably take in succession.

So I thought I would share

Now if only HP would ship computers that don't have all four primary partitions on the hard drive already in use making it impossible to install Linux without substantial effort.

Must take a good look at that. I can't see anything about any means of actually getting a qualification from the courses, though; it would be pretty cool if you could just attend a testing center at the end of your course, pay $50 and sit an actual exam, and at the end of it get an industry-recognised qualification.
I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.

Here is an article on Linux online learning sources to add. Most of these are not-free but at least they are an option:

Need Linux Skills? 12 Places to Learn Online
As more and more companies turn to Linux for mission-critical operations, making sure IT staff have the necessary skills is becoming more important than ever.

That's a significant challenge, because demand for Linux skills now far outstrips supply, making them a particularly hot commodity in the hiring market as companies large and small struggle to equip themselves with the talent they need.

The Linux Foundation reports that skills are one of the top challenges named by companies already using Linux, as I've noted before, while on IT employment site Dice.com, demand for Linux experience is growing at a rate of 31 percent year over year as opposed to just 20 percent overall.

So how do IT professionals get these coveted skills, whether for their own job-hunting purposes or for an employer that needs them? There are numerous opportunities online.
