    Freeze at boot!?!

My Acer AS4250-bz637 has started freezing when I boot it in to Xubuntu 64bit 11.10.
I am running it on an 8 gig SDHC card and when it works it works great.

Sometimes it has these fits were it will freeze before, during or just after I log in.
Good enough to get myself in trouble.

    Re: Freeze at boot!?!

I faced the same problems with my 10.10 and a SSD drive (HW: proc i5, 8G ram, 64G SSD) so, I found it was best, to wait a few seconds before I log in, as if I logged in immediately, things sometimes went wrong ...

    Re: Freeze at boot!?!

It seems to be running better now.
I ran some of the utilitys in recovery mode and was able to run the updates.

    Crossing my fingers.
Good enough to get myself in trouble.
