Monitor resolution with VGA switch

Hi All,
I connected 2 monitors to my PC using a VGA switch.
The monitors have a different resolution (one is a projector, the other is a desktop monitor).

The problem is that when the switch VGA is connected I'm not able to set the 1280 x 1024 on the monitor desktop.

The monitor desktop is a HANNS-G HU196D, the VGA is am Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 10)

Can you help me? Having fonts so big is really annoying.......
