    Grub2 OS boot

The following is a really helpful link.
Changing the boot order works just follow grub-set-defaults and do what it tells you. ONE MUST IS TO DO IT FROM THE OS THAT WAS THE DEFAULT. I put mint 11 on top of mint9 and manually fixing from mint9 and it failed to have any effect. I had to let it boot into mint11 then do the fixing. Ian.
