Hello
Can anyone shed light on the subject of marine navigation (yachting) software that will run well under Linux esp ubuntu?
This would be fantastic. I have been through the linux 'terrestrial' stuff which appears to all be land based GPS mapping for use in cars. We would really like something that replaces Maxsea (french) or Nobeltech or the host of other clunky windows programs. The australians do some good windows ones. The main criterion would be to read into the linux platform the relevant and various windows based maps /charts of the oceans and coast.
any help appreciated!
