    Shark-attack?

What do you guys feel about Shark-attack? I don't think we should kill them, or for their fin soups either. Here is an image that I found.

I am pretty sure the Australian government is spending huge amounts of money every year trying to put all murderers in jail as well as giving hefty fines to people breaking the traffic laws. I sincerely doubt that any police officer or judge in any sane country would have a "meh" reaction to either murder or reckless driving.

"PANIC! PANIC! Kill all the sharks!!" ? Citation needed, I don't know anyone in Australia who has this attitude.

I live in a landlocked US state, so sharks are of no concern to me.

    Re: Shark-attack?

We have nets along the coast where I live so shark attacks are not common, I have however seen sharks in front of the nets and they were only a few meters away from us and when that happens you must see surfers scrambling to get to the beach

Rest of the country does not have nets. One particular surfer has been attacked twice, talk about bad luck. You all probably saw it on tv before where two great whites attack him at the same time.

I had a near 'collision' with a dolphin the other day but they're like bats so won't hit you.

Dont be so sure, bull sharks have been known to swim up rivers like the Mississippi all the way into Illinois. They have a unique way of restarting their system to adapt to fresh water. Even been shown on Discoverys River Monsters show.

It's the psychological aspect of it.

Which is the scariest way to go? Texting while driving and whacking into a tree? Or to look down and see this dark shadow under you slowly coming up, with nowhere for you to go? There's a reason most horror movie heroes get attacked in the water or by something reptilian.

If you fear shark attack then don't swim in the ocean. Find a nice swimming pool. Duh.
