Is there some book that is constantly updated that is similar to the sobell book?

I took a linux course a while ago and we used a book my sobell. Later, when I was running ubuntu 8.10, I read though this book http://www.amazon.com/Practical-Guid...0003980&sr=8-4. There is a third edition of this book out, but it is already almost outdated, it covers (10.04 LTS).

I am currently running the newest version of ubuntu (11.10) and I'm having trouble doing some of the things that I used to be able to do easily. I would like a book like sobells, that is constantly updated.

Is there something like this available? I like to be as informed as possible, and I dislike having to search though forums and man pages to find something that I want to learn (often times, I end up having to search though multiple sources to find some information that I need).

Please include the IBSN if this is possible.

I don't think you'll find a book that supports very recent versions of Ubuntu. Your best bet is asking here, or searching at askubuntu.com, which is an excellent resource for information on accomplishing specific tasks.

Better to start a thread for each individual problem or query you have.
    There is this http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Oneiric

    And askubuntu and omgubuntu websites.
