11.10 : iBus disappearing from panel on relogging

    Heya

    Running Ubuntu 11.10.

I added ibus-daemon to Startup Applications with the following entries:

    Code:
    Name: ibus-daemon
    Command: /usr/bin/ibus-daemon -d
I also added it to my panel whitelist using dconf Editor:

    Code:
    systray-whitelist ['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Wine', 'scp-dbus-service', 'Update-notifier', 'ibus']
(Admittedly I'm not sure if I whitelisted iBus correctly...)

When I reboot Ubuntu, iBus appears in the panel and works flawlessly. When I log out and log back in again, iBus is no longer present in the panel and is not active, meaning that I can't even press the hotkeys I've set to change input language. I have to fully reboot Ubuntu for iBus to reappear in the panel and function.

Oddly enough, when I put Ubuntu into Suspend and resume, iBus is present in the panel and working.

Does anyone know how to sort this out so that iBus doesn't vanish from the panel when I relog?

Same problem here, though I haven't done the whitelist thing or put it in start up.

I could only use the command:

    ibus-daemon -r

    to restart ibus.
