I am not being able to setup my HP printer.

Hi Folks, I am not being able to setup my HP printer. I install the Ubuntu 11.10 without the printer be connected in the usb. When I tryied to setup with the GUI process, clicking in the tab "Add new printer", I received the following message:

"FirewallD is not running. The network printers detection needs of mdns, ipp, ipp-client and samba-client enabled in the firewall".

Well, wich packages should I have install in order I could configure my HP printer?

    Thanks in advance.

Are you running Gnome? Can't be installed under gnome.

This is a pretty old thread but for the sake of other searchers, plug the USB cable in before installing the printer.
