Hi all.
This is my problem.
I've updated 11.04 to 11.10 with no problem at all. Nothing except that gnome and gnome shell were not installed from the update process. (?)
Ok. I've included them (both gnome, gnome-panel, gnome-shell) in a manual install, and I can use them (as Unity) with no problem at all.
I use this machine as a NX server, and I've noticed that NX is not compatible with Unity and Gnome Shell, so I have to use Gnome "classic" as desktop.
When I start NX client from remote machine, GNOME is selected, and it works, BUT gnome-panel is not loaded. An odd desktop is shown, I have to Ctrl+F2 run a gnome-panel and so. But this is not acceptable to my users (i.e. wife).
Any idea???
Does anybody have gone into anything like this? Should I reinstall?
Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciate.

(P.S. There's nothing bad with NX client and server. I've installed KDE, and works)
