Firefox doesn't work with system proxy - Ubuntu 10.10

Hi

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 but the firefox doesn't get the global system proxy.

apt and all the stuff are working great with system proxy, but not Firefox.

in the 11.04 it was working well

I have exactly the same problem. Ever since i upgraded I have to go through such a hoplah every time I have to configure proxy its ridiculous.

It worked so well in the previous versions....why the hell did they remove it ???????

I solve my problem

just follow this tutorial and it works flawless. and the best thing its that the users can't change the proxy
