    Hi arvindg14, looks like you figured out how to post the information here, also refer to my previous post and it will tell you how to put the commands into the terminal and you will not have to worry about typing the commands that way you will have no typos.

    Hi,

    you had typos there. You can c/p the commands, if neccessary.

    "Tx-Power = off" means, there is a button, switch, key, or key combination to activate the wireless. Also check you BIOS if it can be activated there. Maybe resetting the BIOS?!

    Hi arvindg14, yes I saw what you posted but not all commands were typed into the terminal correctly and my reference to my previous post was to get you to go back and read where I wrote copy and paste the commands into the terminal that makes it easier on you and usually insures accuracy.

    This is the command that did not come out right:

    Hi, if you have an internet connection run this command please:

    sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter firmware-b43-installer
    then reboot and it should be working.
