    multiple X-servers on one screen

    Hi
I would like to run multiple X-servers visible on one screen.
With the result more or less like (split - screen):
    ------------
    | X1 | X3 |
    | -----------
    | X2 | X4 |
    ------------
I would like to attach separate keyboard and mouse to every X-server.

The problem is, that I have to have 4 independent mouse pointers and I have to run 4 independent
programs (for example gimp) and all 4 users have to have a possibility to work independently
with their own mouses and programs, and the result will be visible on one screen.

You need specialized software for that and I personally haven't seen one yet. I'd virtualize the system if I were you!

Virtualization is only a partial answer. I can run 4 independent virtual machines - this is not a problem. The background system will treat every machine as a separate program and will not allow to make a click in every machine simultaneously.
