I have a desktop that I configured as a dual-boot system: 1) a win7, 2) ubuntu 10.04

I have installed a guest xubuntu in the win7, with virtualbox. I have configured the virtualbox network of the guest as a bridged adapter; I can actually connect to the internet from my guest system. My problem is that this xubuntu can't seem to be part of the LAN. At the very least, I expect it to be visible as part of the network of it's win7 host. I have another desktop, similarly configured (win7, and ubuntu), and I'd like this xubuntu to be visible there as well, and vice versa.

Can I actually do that?

Seems complex. I actually haven't found anything via google that is pitched to my level of inexperience. I'd appreciate if someone can simplify this for me.
