A combination of disappointment with Unity, increasing doubt in the organizational competence of Canonical, and a change in the way I use computers has led me to switch to a different distro. That said, I wish Ubuntu the best.

Fresh install right when it comes out! I'm a bleeding edge kinda guy.

I use the cutting edge, but I also don't take any chances. I dual boot with the beta, as soon as I deem it stable and useful enough, I am going for a clean install and making it the main version.
Already got it on a partition.
It will not be replacing Arch. Some of the packages that will be on the release are already out of date as far as Arch is concerned.
How much more minty fresh can a distro actually be? None more minty, I think.
I am not sure yet. I'm a kubuntu user and I've hardly seen any news about changes/improvements to Kubuntu Oneiric. Hard to know whether upgrading is worth it.
If I do decide to upgrade, it will be with a clean install for sure. Don't feel like dealing with a possible broken system.
Will be upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 on release day!
As soon as I have time to do it. I'm doing a clean install and I am taking detailed notes as I configure the system to my liking.
I am really excited about the new release of Unity.
I've been running it for about a month. I hated Natty. Oneiric has been a pleasure, and the changes in Unity shell have all been quite pleasant. On my machine, it's been very stable with a few Compiz crashes here and there. Not too shabby.
In a ham and eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved but the pig is committed
I've used the beta in VM for the past month and i've gone from hating it, to getting used to it. Also have 10.10 on my laptop, which is perfectly fine as is. At least the full screen mode in 11.10 means I don't see the unity bar all the time. Will I install it on my laptop, no, I'll probably wait until 12.04 and decide then.
