    Nxserver - FreeNX

I'm currently using Ubuntu 10.10 (Well Mint actually) at home, and Windows XP Pro at work.

I use NXserver and FreeNX client to connect to my home machine via SSH. I can then login (even though the same user is already logged in at home) and gain full desktop GUI access.

The problem is that Chromium is exceptionally slow via method, and while FF is better it's not ideal.

Anyway, my question is, Is there anything better than NXserver at the moment in terms of security and speed?

Why, they are basically the same? The question isn't about the distro but the NX server

Mint and Ubuntu is not the same. Mint is based on Ubuntu as Ubuntu is based on Debian. (except Mint Debian version).
If you want specific help for an apps regardless distro try http://www.linuxquestions.org/ or at FreeNX.
