Well they talk a lot about how the true purpose of a program is to serve the user, and software needs to be free so it can do it, and the main bad-guy is some kind of enormous computer program that absorbes all the functions of the other programs, and uses them to control users (like certain major software companies that will remain unnamed).
I think they even say something about a "Free and Open system" at the end. Maybe not exactly that, but something similar. They definitely use those three words together in the same sentence (the old guy who monitors the I/O tower, at the very end).

Yeah why do they always make Microsoft the bad guy?
That secure booting thing doesn't do much for there reputation.

It's more of social/political commentary, albeit not a very clear one.
