Use a internal HDD as Virtual Memory?

I have a 20GB HDD with Ubuntu 11.04 on it. I was wondering if I could use my spare 6GB PATA IDE as virtual RAM. I only have 725mb of RAM and would like to use my 6GB to have 6GB of virtual ram. Is that possible?
    Thanks!
