Roaming is expensive and I want to reassure myself that Ubuntu's network manager didn't connect me to the wrong carrier.
I am away from my base country but my provider (3) has a ‘like home’ plan where I don't pay roaming charges - as long as I connect to their partner carrier.
On Windows a little box tells me which carrier I am connected to. I need to see 3 like Home or similar to feel secure that next month's billing isn't going to be a nasty and expensive experience.
All network manager tells me is GSM (Roaming) is connected. I need to know which network it selected. How do I find this out under Ubuntu?
