    Supercomputer predicts revolution

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14841018

Feeding a supercomputer with news stories could help predict major world events, according to US research.

A study, based on millions of articles, charted deteriorating national sentiment ahead of the recent revolutions in Libya and Egypt.

While the analysis was carried out retrospectively, scientists say the same processes could be used to anticipate upcoming conflict.

The system also picked up early clues about Osama Bin Laden's location.
I wonder if it runs Linux...

This study was conducted retrospectively, but I wonder if it had been done before the revolutions and the data was announced to the world, if the revolutions would have happened. I wonder if the computer can compute its own impact on world events...not likely.

Also, I also sensed deteriorating national sentiment in Egypt and Libya before the revolutions so I am going to reclassify myself as a supercomputer.

All supercomputers are not created equal.

It is always a sobering thought to think of someone with average intelligence & then know that ~ half the people in the world have lower intelligence than them...

Some of the events held in the following link for the future seem like they're going to happen more and more:

Also, if you've ever watched spirit science, you'd know that the computer is just tapping into the consciousness grid of the human consciousness network based on the articles of history that the human consciousness has gone through. It's not hard to figure out what may or may not happen in real life.

I'm still waiting for a few things myself to happen. Like the 2012 realization event where Aquarius becomes the main constellation in the sky. (The sphinx points toward the main constellation, right now it's Pisces.)

The system also picked up early clues about Osama Bin Laden's location.

?? Really the computer did this? And took ten years to do it?

I think a better indication of future events is the prediction markets. (a.k.a. making bets on if an even will occur or not)

Considering just about everyone was saying "He's in Pakistan for sure", it's no wonder that a supercomputer managed to pick up on this.
I try to treat the cause, not the symptom. I avoid the terminal in instructions, unless it's easier or necessary. My instructions will work within the Ubuntu system, instead of breaking or subverting it. Those are the three guarantees to the helpee.
