    Question Changing the Root Prompt

Hi, I'm new to this forum and still relatively new to Ubuntu, and I have a quick question.

How do you change the root prompt (sudo -i) in the terminal? I have managed to change the regular prompt in .bashrc and played around with /etc/bash.bashrc to no avail. Everything i change and save doesn't change the prompt at all.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Re: Changing the Root Prompt

Just edit roots .bashrc file which can be found at /root/.bashrc

    Re: Changing the Root Prompt

For some reason I thought that bash.bashrc was roots .bashrc. Worked perfectly though, many thanks!
