    ATI Radeon 5470 with Natty

    Hi,

I have a problem with my new laptop. I have a dual card, one is intel integrated and the second one is dedicated ATI Radeon 5470.

Some times when I try to boot Ubuntu Natty 11.04 . The system fail to boot and I got several error messages related to the the Radeon card (at least that what I think)

In addition if I switch to command line by pressing Ctrl+Alt+ F1 I found the following message:

    max pwm is zero

This problem do not happen with Ubuntu 10.10

Now this not always happen some time I can boot.

Attached an image for the error message that I got.

What i want to know is my card is broken (physically)? or it is only a software problem or incompatibility?

Note: I am using the Open source driver that come with Ubuntu
