    Epson V200 scanner in Natty?

Each Ubuntu upgrade brings its new Epson scanner puzzle...

This time, Epson's Avasys iscan (Image Scan! for Linux 2.26.0) program is only offering to save as .PNM or .PDF, not the more common .PNG .JPEG or .TIFF which appear grayed out.

    Any ideas for fixing this?

    Thanks!

    Fixed this in another thread:

One irritation with this scanner in Ubuntu has always been that it would not shut down with the button.
    I stopped trying, ages ago.
Yesterday, my daughter, who doesn't know it doesn't work, shut it down with the button...
Not sure whether that is thanks to the latest Ubuntu or the latest Iscan, but good news anyway!
