Hi to all,
I partially understand this, but it is unfair to those who only post when they have something, that they consider new (as far as they know) or at least a different and interesting approach.
I must confess I don't have any problem with some restrictions to changes in my user cp.
I wont rush to get 50 posts, but I rather have full access to my user CP.
I hope this is being useful to fight spam.
Cheers to this great community.
Is this then going to lead to threads that are all about marathon posting to get to 50 posts? I can understand restricting a lot of privileges based on the need for a 50 post history, but it seems silly that I can’t even update my Ubuntu version to Oneiric.
(Edited to add: the bump thread may be perfect for this!)

The cafe and games such as bump thread dont count towards beans so makes no difference.
You can PM a admin if you really want your version changed if you ask nicely.
Besides if your question is Oneiric related then post it in the Oneirc sub-forum and people will assume thats it anyways, i never look at someones version, i ask in the thread where applicable

You do still let us less than 50 people change our email. Do you think you could let us also change what version of Ubuntu we are using? I just wanted to show I was using Ubuntu 11.10 now.
