Exclamation tomld - 1 click security on Linux using MAC (Mandatory Access Control)

    Dear Ubuntu Users and Developers,

I'd like to show you my project in case you might be interested in testing it.

I've been developing an open source security related software using Tomoyo. After 7 months of developing, I'm getting close to release my first stable version.

This is a security tool and its goal is a fully automatic Mandatory Access Control (MAC) configuration. This is a 1-click solution without the need of any user interaction. Currently supported platforms are: Debian 6 and up, Ubuntu 10.10 and up and openSUSE 12.1 (dev).

I still have no wider user base testing it and I still find smaller bugs from time to time, therefore I'm "spamming" some IRC channels, news sites and mailing lists to let people know about my project and get my code stabilized as fast as possible, so I can get it into Debian as a package, and from there it would flow into Ubuntu as well.

    My site:

    FAQ:

You can see installation video here:

I'm already using and testing it in smaller production environments and any feedback or opinions on the topic are greatly appreciated.

    My Best Regards!

    Sincerely,

    Andras Horvath

    Interesting.

So your trying to create an automatic MAC using machine learning?
Life is an extraordinarily long concatenation of luck and coincidence.

I am pretty sure there must be better ways of getting the dev's attention (they are very unlikely to frequent the forums, even less likely to check in the Cafe)...

Have you tried searching for an appropriate mailing list or getting hold of someone via IRC (I am sure someone in #ubuntu on freenode could point you in the right direction)...

OK, so I should have read the whole OP... Cool, I hope you get someones attention soon

If you are interested in entering it into the repos, submit it at Debian, it will make it's way into Ubuntu as well.
