Ubuntu 11.04 menu bar and task bar gone missing

HI Guys i recently upgraded to ubuntu 11.04 .
I was trying out the options in the compiz plugin for
GUI effects.
And some setting I dont know whether it was compiz ..
caused the Utility menu bar panel as well as the Task Bar
to dissapear.

I cant access the terminal even ..none of the short cuts work..
Except that i can get through the Terminal window using Ctrl+Alt+F2

I really dont know what the Problem. is..
I dont have screen shots.. since I am using another machine to make this post...
Any help would be really appreciated.

Run this command from the terminal:

unity --reset 

If they keep continually disappearing like mine used to, when you log in choose "Classic Ubuntu, No Effects".
