    Exclamation How to enable colored highlights in terminal?

    notice the colored syntax and keywords in the terminal - the green, the blue etc?



    i did this in my machine a LOOOOOOOOONG time........
    now i cannot trace back to how i did this.

    i need to do this in a new machine right now.
    can anyone help me out here on how to enable colored highlights in the terminal command?

    In gnome-terminal, Edit->ProfilePreference->Colors. Configure your settings there.
