    ubuntu/mythbuntu and flow digital cable

wondering if anyone in the community has experience with recording flow digital cable channels using mythbuntu or
    any other software...

my analog tuners are useless now that flow has gone digital and i would like to replace them with digital tuners,
assuming there are ones compatible with the cable system. would appreciate any advice and/or recommendations
of suitable tuners, so i can go back to recording weekly tv programs.

    thanks!

have been here since february and will not be leaving any time soon... in the process of establishing residency.

where is the "ubuntu hour" set to take place? i'm living in chaguanas (charlieville). not sure if i can make it this month...
heavy pressure to deliver a script rewrite and time is tight for the next few weeks.

real hoping to get some info on recording from flow. trying to avoid spending a lot of money playing hit-or miss
buying tuners that will not work. also trying to avoid having to get a second or third cable box from flow to be
    able to record with mythtv.
