HP dv6000 wifi unable to reconnect

I just installed Ubuntu 11.04 on my HP dv6000 laptop yesterday. I love it, but, like just about everybody, I had to do all of the work-arounds for my wifi to work (I can tether my phone and computer and work online that way, but it's far from preferable.) By poking around these forums and having a friend come help me, I finally got it working. I ran updates, installed apps, and shut down my laptop for the night. When I turned it on this morning, it once again will not connect to a wifi network. Last night, my wifi indicator light was blue, and now it is orange again. I'm at a total loss for what to do since I feel like I did all of the big fixes yesterday. Again, my wifi was working not 12 hours ago. I know my router is fine, as all of my other devices will connect. I'd really appreciate the help from some experts on this one. Thanks!
