    System Updates

So I did something stupid that damaged my latest install, but of course I was able to reboot and get everything working with a previous version that was still on the system. Good. So how do I make it the version the systems boots to heceforth, instead of the system trying to reboot the latest, broken version, and me having to manually pick a previous one?

    Take a look at this,

    Re: System Updates

Thanks - I got it to the point where it boots into a nicely working former configuration. However, it seems that the update function now no longer works, and never sees a new update...? I guess ideally I'd like to cleanly and easily roll back the system updates, and then have a configuration that updates itself to the latest -but without the system mess I introduced...

That seems hard to accomplish to judge by searches on the topic - "rolling back" system updates seems rather difficult...
