No alsa driver installed

Hello everyone, I've been trying to install a Creative Labs CA0106 Soundblaster in my Ubuntu 11.04 without success.

I've tried all the tips in this forum and others with the same outcome. My latest test was to compile the latest alsa driver, I have followed this procedure and everything went ok. After reboot I still don't have soundcards and worse, no alsa driver installed. I tried some of the tips in SoundTroubleShooting but can't solve this, can anyone point me in the right direction?
