perdona que te moleste otra vez, pero es que he reiniciado la pc y ya no me aparecen las redes en manager.
pongo el comando sudo iwlist ra0 scan y la salida es:
ra0 Interface doesn't support scanning.

After you rebooted, did the driver rt3562sta load as expected? If it is not loaded, load it manually:Code:lsmod | grep rt3Does that bring your wireless to life? If so, let's load it automatically:Code:sudo modprobe rt3562staCode:sudo su echo rt3562sta >> /etc/modules exit

Realizados los pasos me vuelven a salir las redes inalambricas.
reinicio la pc? o primero tenemos que hacer algo màs.
He reiniciado la pc y funciona perfectamente.
Te vuelvo a dar las GRACIAS y un saludo, sois formidables.
I was very glad to help and I'm glad it's working.
Whenever a newer kernel version, also known as linux image, is installed by Update Manager, you will need to rebuild the driver for the newer kernel. It's the same as before with one additional step:You might save these instructions for that day.Code:cd Desktop/rt3562directory <--or wherever you extracted the files sudo su make clean make make install modprobe -rv rt3562sta modprobe rt3562sta exit
Have fun!

Working through your suggestions here and now my wireless system is working.
Very Big Thanks.

Hello Chilli, thanks to this thread i was able to get up and running with this card on kubuntu 12.04
My problem was that the card was scanning and recognizing networks, but it could not obtain an IP. I followed the directions and downloaded the driver, made the modifications to the config, and compiled and installed. Still wasnt working, then i noticed that it was using module:rt2800pci
So i created /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf and added the following lines:
Im not sure if all of that was vital, but the first line for sure, once i did that and rebooted, it worked right away.Code:blacklist rt2800pci blacklist rt61pci blacklist rt2x00pci blacklist rt2800usb blacklist rt2800lib blacklist rt2x00usb blacklist rt2x00lib
THANKS ALOT.
