Ever seen the classic titles for N64, the Call of Duty series, Bioware RPGs, Starcraft, etc etc etc? It's not Linux's fault, but I don't see how the open source community can ever come to rival the polish of for profit games. Sure they might be fun, perhaps in your opinion even more fun, but as virtual realities they will be far behind those produced professionally.
Ever seen the new pieces of **** the gaming industry pours out these days?
Makes me more confident that FOSS is the way.
