About a year ago I used a nifty little program (or plugin) that was able to stretch the background of a picture (e.g. nature) while the foreground would keep having the correct aspect ratio (e.g. a person). This program worked really well, but I have lost track of it and am unable to find it. I hope the description of this program is clear. If you know what the name is of this program/plugin, please let me know!
Not sure, but are you talking about the liquid rescale Gimp plugin? http://liquidrescale.wikidot.com/

Thanks earlycj5 and Robert, It isn't the program that I had in mind, but it does the job perfectly! And, it integrates with Gimp. You made my day! Thanks!
Just curious, was this the app you had used before.... http://code.google.com/p/seam-carving-gui/ http://www.kirpi.it/Photo/Remove-dig...iquid-resizing looks like it hasn't been updated for 12 months.
