I go some decent computer lying around. So I would install to other computer for testing. Until Linux is not practical to use (which I doubt it) than only I will install into my main computer.
No, I don't think so. I would try it out in a VM I suppose, but Linux currently does everything I need and has a huge repo of apps, so I have no need to switch.
Do you folks like coffee?
i'd consider it if they did something about the fugly window theme.
I've not even heard of this particular project. Why's it supposed to be good?
These days, my computers change so much, all I can say for sure here is ubuntu.
I generally follow that old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it." As long as linux can do what I need it to do, I won't switch to anything else. However, Haiku would always be my backup if for some reason linux didn't suit me anymore.
If anyone wants to see what haiku is, the Linux Action Show do a good review of it

Last I checked, they were severely lacking on the video driver front.
Assuming they have that figured out soon, I will definitely give it a try. However, I don't expect to switch away as my job is on Linux, I am already pretty familiar with Linux and I am not sure what more would Haiku give me that I don't already have with Linux.
This was the reason to no switch to BSD, while it was good, I did not see it giving me anything that I didn't already have.
