Hi there!
I have an ASUS 1015PEM netPC and I'm experiencing a problem with the last release of Ubuntu and my wireless card.
Everything have worked fine so far, but if I try to run sw like airodump or wireshark I get a lot of problems 'cause my wifi card is recognised as an ethernet card for wired connections.
I have no problem surfing the internet using wireless connections, but when I try to use those kind of software, they just don't work because the interface appears as "eth1" instead of "wlan0" or whatever.
Could you help me, please?
Here's my iwconfig:
and my card, from lspci:Code:lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. eth1 IEEE 802.11 Access Point: Not-Associated Link Quality:5 Signal level:0 Noise level:165 Rx invalid nwid:0 invalid crypt:0 invalid misc:0
