ubun22 you need the b43-fwcutter and the firmware-b43-lpphy-installer..
The firmware is for low power chip. You only need those two no others for your wireless.

Re: Ubuntu 10.10 Acer Aspire one D250 wireless problem

I solved it. The low-power drivers work. I just forgot to activate the STA driver in addition to the B43.

Same problem on my eMachines E725. I installed cc and b43-fwcutter was already installed. I was then able to activate the driver, but wireless networks still don't show up.

Re: Ubuntu 10.10 Acer Aspire one D250 wireless problem

Has this problem been resolved yet? As in not a problem in the latest version (10.10.##)? I only ask as I am deployed to Kuwait right now and if I upgrade I have no way of logging on to the internet with out wireless capabilities. Obviously if I want to keep in touch back home I will need something that will work once I click the "Upgrade" button.
